A second Hilton option in Destin is the SanDestin Hilton Beach Golf Resort and Spa. Located at 4000 Sandestin Boulevard South in Destin, this upscale venue offers a private beach area for your ceremony and beautiful indoor or outdoor areas for the reception.

Other beach weddings in Destin Florida have been held on the beach outside of the Destin Hampton Inn at 1625 Highway 98 East. The small, but beautiful private beach there has the water on one side and lovely green grass on the other. While permits may or may not be required for the individual public or private beaches in Destin, all beach weddings in Destin Florida do require licenses. To inquire about getting a license and to find out whether the specific stretch of beach where you want your wedding to be held requires a permit, write to the Clerk of Circuit Court at Okaloosa County Courthouse Annex, 1250 N. Eglin Pkwy, Shalimar, FL 32579. They will be able to give you all the information you need about these things.

Brooks and Shorey resorts have three lovely destinations for beach weddings in Destin Florida that are a short distance from the city limits on Ft. Walton Beach. They are the Emerald Towers West, Summerland and Islander Beach resorts. Here, you can exchange your wedding vows on one of the public beaches behind the resorts, then have your reception a short distance away in the outdoor facilities or air conditioned indoor facilities of any of the three resorts.
